Eren Karan ist Informatik-Student an der Universität Augsburg und schreibt derzeit eine Bachelorarbeit zum Thema Einsicht („Aha!“-Momente) beim Lösen von Schachpuzzlen. Für diese Studie werden Schachspielerinnen und Schachspieler aller Spielstärken gesucht - von Anfänger:innen bis hin zu fortgeschrittenen Spieler:innen -, die bereit sind, online einige Schachrätsel zu lösen und kurz und knapp ihre Erfahrungen mitzuteilen.
Ziel der Untersuchung ist es, besser zu verstehen, wann und warum es beim Lösen von Schachaufgaben zu plötzlichen Einsichtsmomenten kommt und wie diese mit der wahrgenommenen Schwierigkeit, dem eigenen Vertrauen in die Lösung sowie dem Spaß am Lösen zusammenhängen. Die Teilnahme erfolgt vollständig online und kann jederzeit durchgeführt werden.
Für die Teilnahme benötigt man lediglich:
- Motivation, Schachaufgaben zu lösen,
- Seine ungefähre Schach-Spielstärke (FIDE, Lichess, Chess.com oder USCF; ein Umrechner ist vorhanden),
- Englisch-Kenntnisse für die Fragen
- und ein paar Minuten Zeit.
Die Teilnahme erfolgt am besten über einen Computer oder Laptop, aber die Studie kann auch auf Mobilgeräten durchgeführt werden, wobei die Leistung etwas eingeschränkter ist.

FC Bayern München gewinnt Blitzschach-Mannschaftsmeisterschaft
Bereits vor zwei Wochen fand die Münchner Blitzschach-Mannschaftsmeisterschaft statt, erneut im Rahmen des traditionellen Garchinger Turniers am Faschingssonntag. 28 Mannschaften fanden den Weg ins Garchinger Gymnasiusm, so dass in jeweils drei Vorrunden- und Finalgruppen gespielt wurde.
Eindeutige Erstplatzierte wurden die Schachfreunde Augsburg, die alle 17 Mannschaftskämpfe gewinnen konnten. Auf dem zweiten Platz folgte der Münchener SC 1836, der jedoch mit einem Gastspieler antrat und deshalb den Titlel des Münchner Meisters dem drittplatzierten FC Bayern München überlassen musste.
